Re-purposing my mother's sewing box after her death in an attempt to subvert the narrative of grief. Also highlighting the the traditionally feminine processes of useless hoading of scraps, saved in keeping with the idea of; make, do and mend.

Materials: wooden sewing box, matrial cut and rolled from many used, womens clothes and domestic fabrics, japanese fabrics, paint, wax.
