The strange efflorescence of many hand chrocheted flowers, in the cracks of a tree trunk, alude to a quiet and tactical growth process. The seemingly benign process denies the force with which the piece was made, every "flower" was rammed into the natural fissures of the tree with a chisel, and yet seem to be bursting out.
